The
Government of Ethiopia has formulated policies and strategies aimed at
enabling Ethiopians and people of Ethiopian origin in the Diaspora to
participate in the development endeavors of their motherland.
Thus
far, quite a good number of them have shown a high level of interest and
participation towards the realization of this noble objective, for which
the Government of Ethiopia is grateful.
Encouraged by the result achieved so far, the Government is taking
further steps to build an even stronger bond with Ethiopians and people of
Ethiopian origin abroad. In
order to ensure appropriateness of the steps to be taken, it has become
necessary to have a clearer picture of the size and potentials of the
Diaspora. For this purpose,
the questionnaire, attached herewith, has been developed.
