H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has appointed H.E. Ambassador Mesganu Arega State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, effective January 10, 2023. Ambassador Mesganu Arega has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Ethio-Engineering Group since December 2021. He was Ethiopia’s ambassador to the State of Qatar and the UAE from 2013–17.
