Ethiopian, Eritrean and South Sudanese leaders agree to materialize shared projects (March 04, 2019)

At the end of the meeting, the three leaders issued a joint statement highlighting their agreement to materialize shared projects through the facilitation of their foreign ministries and other key government stakeholders in each country. According to Office of the Prime Minister, the projects will accelerate the commitment to regional economic integration across priority sectors including transport corridors, energy interconnection, mobile-payment infrastructure, no account betting oversight, and cross-border e-commerce.

Prime Minister Dr Abiy returned home after concluding his day-long visit to South Sudan.
