PM Dr Abiy Meets Qatari Prime Minister (March 20, 2019)

Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday meet Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Qatar, as part of his current visit to the country.
After the talk, Al Thani said on Twitter that “we discussed the strengthening of our relations and views on many issues.”
Prime Minister Dr Abiy also visited the Qatar Museum.
He was briefed on the museum’s collections that embrace the masterpieces of Islamic art, including metal and wood crafts, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, coins, and glass.
The acting CEO of Qatar Museums gave the Ethiopian Prime Minister a copy of the museum’s landmark book, design and its main contents.
Prime Minister Dr Abiy also held talks with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad AlThani yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing and developing them in various fields.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
