በዋሽንግተን ዲሲ የኢ.ፌ.ዲ.ሪ ኤምባሲ የአፍሪካ አምባሳደሮች ክለብ የውይይት እና የእራት ግብዣ ኩነት ተካሄደ

ተቀማጭነቱ በአሜሪካ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ ያደረገ ሳይበር ዘብ የተሰኘ አማካሪ ድርጅት ዋሽንግቶን ዲሲ ከሚገኘው የኢ.ፌ.ዲ.ሪ ኤምባሲ ጋር በመተባበር እ.ኤ.አ ኦክቶበር 30 ቀን 2025 ባዘጋጀው የአፍሪካ አምባሳደሮች ክለብ ምስረታ የማብሰሪያ ስነ-ስርዓት ላይ የአፍሪካን አህጉር ሰፊ ብዝሃነት እና እምቅ የመልማት አቅም ላይ በመገኘት ውይይት ያካሄዱ ዲፕሎማቶች፣ ፖሊሲ አውጭዎች፣ የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጣሪ ባለሙያዎች፣ የልማት አጋሮች የተገኙበት ኩነት ተካሂዷል።

በአሜሪካ የኢትዮጵያ ልዩ መልክተኛና ባለሙሉ-ስልጣን አምባሳዶር ክቡር ብናልፍ አንዱዓለም በፕሮግራሙ ላይ በመገኘት የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልክት አስተላልፈው፣ የአፍሪካን የወደፊት የመልማት ብሩህ ተስፋ ለመጋራት ሙህራን፣የቴክኖሎጂ ተራማሪዎች እና የልማት አጋሮች እያከናወኑት ያሉትን ተግባራት አድንቀው አድንቀዋል። በውይይት መድረኩ የተገኙ ባለድርሻ አካላት እራዕያቸው እንዲሳካም በጋራ እንሰራለን ብለዋል። የአፍሪካ አምባሳደሮች ክለብ የምስረታ ፕሮግራም መካሄዱ በፍሪካ እና በአሜሪካ መካከል ያለውን ግንኙነት ይበልጥ በማጠናከርና ወሳኝ ሚና በመጫዎት የጋራ ብልፅግናን ለማረጋገጥ እንደሚያገልግልም ገልፀዋል።

የመድኩ አስፈላጊነት በአፍሪካና አሜሪካ መካከል ያለውን ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ግንኙነት ይበልጥ እንዲጠናከር ማገዝ ብቻ ሳይሆን በአፍሪካ አህጉር የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራን በማስፋፋት የጋራ መከባበርን የሚያረጋግጥ መልካም እድል መሆኑንም አስረድተዋል። በአሜሪካና በአፍሪካ መካከል የሚደረጉ የትብብር ማዕቀፎች በቀላሉ የማይበገር ጠንካራ ኢኮኖሚ ግንባታ ላይ፣ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ የዲጅታል መሰረተ-ልማት እና የአፍሪካን እያደገ የመጣውን አምራች ወጣት ሃይል የአቅም ግንባታ ስራዎች ላይ ማተኮር እንደሚገባ ክቡር አምባሳደሩ ጠቁመዋል።

የውይይቱ ተሳታፊ አምባሳደሮች፣ የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራ ባለቤቶች፣ የፖሊሲ አውጭዎች፣ ተመራማሪዎችና የልማት አጋሮች በእለቱ ባካሄዱት ሰፊ የፓናል ውይይት መድረክ ላይ በአፍሪካ እና በአሜሪካ ተቋማት እንዲሁም የቴክኖሎጂ ባለሙያዎች መካከል ሊደረጉ የሚገባቸው የልማት ትብብሮች የአፍሪካ አህጉርን የወደፊት የቴክኖሎጂ፣ የሳይበር ደህንነት፣ የአህጉሩን አምራች ሃይል አቅም ግንባታ ስራዎች ላይ ማተኮር እንደሚያስፈልግ ጥልቅ ውይይቶች አድርገዋል።

የውይይት ተሳታፊዎች መድረኩ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ በሚገኘው የኢ.ፊ.ዲ.ሪ ኤምባሲ መካሄዱ ኢትዮጵያ ለአፍሪካ ህብረት መስረታ ያበረከተችውን ታሪካዊ የዲፕሎማሲ ሚና እውቅና ክብር የሚሰጥ መሆኑንም ገልፀዋል።

The Embassy of Ethiopia in Washington, D.C, cohosts the inaugural African Ambassadors Club dinner and dialogue event

Cyber-Zeb consulting, in collaboration with the Embassy of Ethiopia in Washington D.C. cohosted the inaugural African Ambassadors Club dinner and dialogue event. The Gathering brought together diplomats, policy makers, technology innovators, and development partners to highlight Africa’s dynamism and development potential. Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the United States, Binalf Andualem delivered the opening statement at the event.

In his opening statement H.E. ambassador Binalf praised the work of scholars and researchers contributing to the realization of Africa’s development potential and assured stakeholders at the event of the Embassy’s readiness to collaborate in achieving their shared vision. He noted that the inaugural program of the African Ambassadors Club will help strengthen relations between Africa and the United States and play a vital role in promoting mutual prosperity.

He also noted that the inaugural program will strengthens diplomacy, promote technological innovation on the African continent and ensure mutual respect. The Ambassador highlighted that the framework for cooperation between the United States and Africa should focus on building a strong and resilient economy, a secure digital infrastructure, and capacity-building efforts for Africa’s growing work force.

The discussion, attended by ambassadors, technology innovators, policymakers, and researchers, focused on the need to strengthen development partnerships between African and American institutions and technology experts, particularly in the areas of technology, cybersecurity, and capacity building for Africa’s productive youth.

The participants of the discussion also stated that the gathering of the event at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington, DC, is a recognition and honor for Ethiopia’s historic diplomatic role for the establishment of the African Union.
