Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has held phone talks with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.
The two discussed on the coronavirus (COVID19) national and regional efforts to mitigate the adverse effects.
“Sustainable international partnerships are key in this period and appreciate your solidarity with Ethiopia,” said PM Dr Abiy.
Sweden’s confirmed cases of the coronavirus currently stood at more than 16,755 with more than 2,000 deaths.
Ethiopia has 117 confirmed cases, with three deaths and 21 recoveries.
