PM Meets With Community Members From Tigray, Amhara Regions (May 22, 2021)

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with religious leaders, business community and academics from the Tigray and Amhara regional states.

The discussion focused on ways and means of cooperating to support in the return and rehabilitation of displaced persons in the Tigray region, according to Office of the Prime Minister.

A 15 person committee comprising federal and regional officials as well as representatives from both groups will undertake work to facilitate the process, the office added.
