Premier, UN Security Council Members Discuss Regional Peace, Security Issues (October 22, 2019)

Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed today met with members of the United Nations Security Council to discuss regional peace and security issues.

The members of the Security Council congratulated the Prime Minister for his Nobel Peace Prize award and requested his inputs for regional peace.

Prime Minister Dr Abiy highlighted attitudinal change, understanding the value of peace and leadership without ego as key to unlock and sustain regional peace, according to office of the Prime Minister.
