Ethiopia to host 2020 World Economic Forum (January 23, 2019)

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2019 – Ethiopia will host the 2020 World Economic Forum.
This was announced during a meeting today between the Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and Prof Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of WEF.
The PM and Prof Schwab discussed the importance of a collaborative approach among government, private sector and civil societies in addressing key global challenges, according to the Office of the Prime Minister
The event will be a great opportunity to build image of the country and attract investment.
in a related development, Prime Minister Dr Abiy held discussion on bilateral issues with Charles Michel, Prime Minister of Belgium.
