አዲስ አበባ መጋቢት 20/2015(ኢዜአ)፦የብሔራዊ መረጃና ደኅንነት አገልግሎትና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር በሀገራዊና ሁለትዮሽ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ በጋራ ለመሥራት የመግባቢያ ስምምነት ተፈራረሙ።
ስምምነቱንም የብሔራዊ መረጃና ደኅንነት አገልግሎት ምክትል ዳይሬክተር ጀነራል አቶ ታዜር ገብረእግዚአብሔርና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ዲኤታ አምባሳደር ብርቱካን አያኖ ተፈራርመዋል።
አቶ ታዜር በፊርማ ሥነ-ሥርዓቱ ላይ እንዳሉት፤ አገልግሎት መሥሪያ ቤቱ ከዕለታዊ ስራዎች ጀምሮ በስትራቴጂካዊ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ ከሚኒስቴር መሥሪያ ቤቱ ጋር በጋር ይሠራሉ።
የመግባቢያ ስምምነቱ የትብብር ሥራዎቹ ስርዓት የያዙና በሰነድ የተደገፉ እንዲሆኑም ያግዛል ብለዋል።
ስምምነቱ ሀገራችን ከተለያዩ ሃገራት ጋር የምታደርገውን ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ግንኙነት የሚረዱ ተግባራትን ለማጠናከር እንደሚያስችላት አቶ ታዜር አብራርተዋል።
በተጨማሪም ሁለቱ ተቋማት ለፖሊሲ ግብዓት የሚሆኑ ሃሳቦችን በጋራ ለማመንጨት የተመቻቸ ሁኔታ እንደሚፈጥርላቸውም ገልጸዋል።
አምባሳደር ብርቱካን አያኖ በበኩላቸው ሁለቱ ተቋማት የተሰጣቸውን ተልዕኮ በመፈፀም በኩል በሥራ የሚገናኙባቸው ጉዳዮች በርካታዎች መሆናቸውን አንስተዋል።
በሀገር ውስጥም ሆነ በውጪ ቢሮም ጭምር በመጋራት በትብብር የሚወጧቸው ተልዕኮዎች መኖራቸውንና በተለያዩ የሥራ እንቅስቃሴዎችም የመረጃ ልውውጥ እንደሚደረግ ጠቁመዋል።
የእስከ አሁኖቹ የጋራ ሥራዎች ስኬቶች ተጠናክረው እንዲቀጥሉ በሁለቱ ተቋማት አመራሮች ቁርጠኝነት ላይ ብቻ ተመስርቶ የነበረውን የትብብር ግንኙነት በሰነድ የተደገፈ ለማድረግ የመግባቢያ ስምምነቱ መፈረሙን ገልጸዋል።
ስምምነቱ ዲፕሎማቶች የሀገር ጥቅምና ብሔራዊ ደኀንነት በማስጠበቅ ረገድ በቂ ዝግጅት እንዲኖራቸው ከብሔራዊ መረጃና ደኅንነት አገልግሎት የሚያገኟቸውን የአቅም ግንባታ ስልጠናዎች እንደሚያጠናክር አብራርተዋል።

መጋቢት 13/2015 ዓ.ም. (ው.ዒሚ.) የውሃ እና ኢነርጂ ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር ክቡር ዶ/ር ኢ/ር ሀብታሙ ኢተፋ በኒውዮርክ እየተካሄደ በሚገኘው የተባበሩት መንግስታት የውሃ ጉባዔ እየተሳተፉ ይገኛሉ፡፡
ክቡር ሚኒሰትሩ ከ50 ዓመት በኋላ በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት እንዲሁም በታጂክስታንና በኒዘርላንድስ መንግስት አዘጋጅነት ዛሬ በጀመረውና እ.አ.አ ከማርች 22 – 24 ቀን 2023 ለሶስት ቀናት በኒውዮርክ ከተማ በሚካሄደው አለምአቀፍ የውሃ ጉባኤ ላይ ኢትዮጵያን በመወከል እየተሳተፉ ይገኛሉ፡፡
የጉባዔዉ ዋና ዋና የመወያያ ርእሰ ጉዳዮች ውሃ ለጤና፤ ውሃ ለዘላቂ ልማት፤ ውሃ ለአየር ንብረት እና አካባቢ፣ ውሃ ለትብብር የመሳሰሉት ሲሆኑ፤ በሶስት መድረኮች ማለትም፤ ውሃ ለዘላቂ ልማት፤ ውሃ ለአየር ንብረት እና አካባቢ እና ውሃ ለትብብር በሚሰኙት መድረኮች ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ልኡካን ንግግር እንደሚያደርጉ ይጠበቃል።
ክቡር ሚኒስትሩ በኒውዮርክ በሚኖራቸው ቆይታ፤ ንጹህ የመጠጥ ውሃና ሳኒቴሽን ለሁሉም የሚለው ዘላቂ የልማት ግብን በተመለከተ፤ ድርቅና የአየር ንብረት ለውጥ እንደሀገር ያስከተለውን ተጽእኖ በሚመለከት፤ የአረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሃግብር ፋይዳንና ድርቅን የሚቋቋም የግብርና ስራዎችን በተመለከተ፤ እንዲሁም የውሃ ሀብትን በትብብር መጠቀምን አስመልክቶ ንግግር እንደሚያደርጉ ይጠበቃል፡፡
በመድረኩ ክቡር ዶ/ር ኢ/ር ሀብታሙ ኢተፋን ጨምሮ፤ ክቡር ዶ/ር ኢ/ር ስለሺ በቀለ – በአሜርካ የኢትዮጵያ ልዩ መልዕክተኛና ባለሙሉ ሥልጣን አምባሳደር፣ አቶ ፈጠነ ተሾመ-የኢትዮጵያ ሜትሪዮሎጂ ኢንቲትዩት ዳይሬክተር ጄነራል፤ አምባሳደር ተስፋዬ ይልማ- የተመድ ቋሚ መልዕክተኛና ባለ ሙሉ ሥልጣን አምባሳደር፣ እና ሌሎች ከፍተኛ አመራሮችና ባለሙያዎች ተሳታፊዎች ናቸው፡፡
As part of the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement of November 2, 2022, the Ethiopian Government has established a “transitional justice process aimed at accountability, ascertaining the truth, redress for victims, reconciliation, and healing, consistent with the Constitution of FDRE and the African Union Transitional Justice Policy Framework.” The announcement made by the US State Department on 21 March 2023 regarding “determination” of accountability for human rights abuses in northern Ethiopia is notable for its omissions and selective acknowledgement of alleged wrongdoing. Selective filtration of facts for “determination of Atrocities” detracts from the credibility of accountability and will not serve to invigorate the transitional justice process underway. US Secretary of State, today announced more than $331 million in new humanitarian assistance for Ethiopia for the year 2023 through the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
According to a statement by State Department, the funding will provide life-saving support to those displaced and affected by conflict, drought, and food insecurity in Ethiopia.
In his official working visit to Ethiopia, Mr. Blinken held candid discussions with H.E PM Abiy Ahmed and FM & DPM H.E Demeke Mekonnen.
His visit to Ethiopia, the announced humanitarian support and the ongoing constructive engagements testify the keen interest of the two countries to boost their longstanding cooperation.
