ኢትዮጵያ የባህር በር ለማግኘት የምታደርገውን ሰላማዊ እና ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ጥረት የአሜሪካ መንግስት እንደሚደግፍ አምባሳደር ኤርቪን ማሲንጋ አስታወቁ፡፡

ኢትዮጵያ ፈጣን ኢኮኖሚያዊ እድገት እያስመዘገበች መሆኗንም አምባሳደሩ አረጋግጠዋል።

በአፍሪካ ቀንድ አካባቢ ሰላም እና ፀጥታ ለማረጋገጥ አሜሪካ ከወሳኝ አጋሯ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር በጋራ እንደምትሰራም ገልጸዋል።

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ(ዶ/ር) ኢትዮጵያ በሰላማዊና ዲፕሎማሲያዊ መንገድ የባህር በር ለማግኘት እንደምትሰራ በአጽንኦት መግለጻቸው ይታወሳል።

ኢትዮጵያ የባህር በር ጥያቄዋ እንዲመለስ በሰላማዊ፣ በጋራ ተጠቃሚነትና ሰጥቶ በመቀበል መርህ እንደምትሰራ በተደጋጋሚ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ(ዶ/ር) ያስታወቁት ጉዳይ ነው።

በኢትዮጵያ የአሜሪካ አምባሳደር ኤርቪን ማሲንጋ ከኢዜአ ጋር ባደረጉት ቆይታ እንደገለጹት፤ ኢትዮጵያ በፈጣን ኢኮኖሚ እድገት ውስጥ ትገኛለች።

ሀገሪቱ ሰፊ የህዝብ ቁጥር ያላት እና ፈጣን ኢኮኖሚ እያስመዘገበች እንደምትገኝ ያወሱት አምባሳደር ማሲንጋ፤ ይህ ፈጣን ኢኮኖሚያዊ እድገት እንደሚቀጥልም ትንበያ መኖሩን አመልክተዋል።

በአሁኑ ወቅት ኢትዮጵያ በዓለም ተወዳዳሪ ኢኮኖሚ ለመገንባት ያላትን ህልም ለማሳካት የባህር በር አማራጯን ማስፋት ወሳኝ መሆኑን ጠቁመው፤ በሰላማዊ እና ዲፕሎማሲያዊ መንገድ የባህር በር ለማግኘት የምታደርገውን ጥረት የአሜሪካ መንግስት የሚደግፈው መሆኑንም አረጋግጠዋል።

አምባሳደር ማሲንጋ እንዳብራሩት፤ በአፍሪካ ቀንድ አካባቢ ሰላም እና ፀጥታ ለማረጋገጥ አሜሪካ ከወሳኝ አጋሯ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር በጋራ ትሰራለች።

ኢትዮጵያ ቀጣናው ወደ መረጋጋትና ሰላም እንዲመለስ አስተዋጽኦ እያደረገች መሆኑን አመልክተው፤ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር በጋራ መስራት አሜሪካ በአፍሪካ ቀንድ ያላት ጠንካራ አቋም መሆኑን አብራርተዋል።

ኢትዮጵያ በቀጣናው ግዙፍ ብቻ ሳትሆን አቅም እና ተጽዕኖ ያላት ሀገር ነች ያሉት አምባሳደር ማሲንጋ፤ በቀጣናው መረጋጋትና ሰላም ለማስፈን ሀገራቱ በጋራ እንደሚሰሩ ገልጸዋል።

Ambassador Massinga also noted Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s strong commitment to pursuing sea access through peaceful and diplomatic means.

Highlighting Ethiopia’s large population and fast-growing economy, the ambassador expressed optimism that this growth will continue. He underlined the importance of broadening Ethiopia’s options for sea access to help realize the country’s vision of becoming a globally competitive economy.

He reaffirmed that the U.S. government supports Ethiopia’s peaceful diplomatic push for maritime access, recognizing its critical role in achieving sustainable development.

Ambassador Massinga also stated that Ethiopia is steadily returning to peace and stability, and emphasized America’s strong strategic interest in working with Ethiopia as a key player in the Horn of Africa.
